Uptime Guarantee

We are so confident that our servers will work for you in uptime that we have setup the following guarantee. Plus we offer a better guarantee than most other places will offer you we have seen them for 3% of your monthly bill if down for 2 hours and it caps off at 15% we just offer you a straight credit per outage that we go under the 99.8% uptime.

We guarantee that our servers will be up 99.8% for any given month or we will credit you in the following ways. 

The blow credits only count if we go below 99.8 for a month

The above will appear on your accounts as a credit. When it comes times to repay either for the year or the month you will see the credit and it will be applied. So for example if there was 1 outage that took us below 99.8% if you paid $5.95 a month you would be paying $3.95 for the month. 

The reason we do this is because we know our servers are top of the line and we will very rarely have to do this if ever. This counts at the end of the month. So at the end of the month if the overall uptime is below 99.8% we will give you the credits based on the number of outages. 

TERMS

We guarantee a 99.8% uptime but there are some terms to go with it. The uptime goes by the uptime chart available on the front page of our site provided by webhostingstuff.com unless in the unlikely event the server reports different. That is the official uptime for this guarantee. The 99.8% is for a given month. If this month we have a 99.8% uptime and next month we have a 99.7 then this would apply. This is not provided as an average. Although our average has been above 99.8 since we started. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE MONTHS WITH SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE  THAT WE HAVE NOTIFIED YOU ABOUT IN ADVANCE. THIS ALSO DOES NOT INCLUDE OUTAGES CAUSED BY ACTS OF GOD, ANOTHER USER CAUSING THE SERVER TO CRASH. DOWNTIME MUST BE VERIFIED. 

WEBHOSTINGSTUFFS UPTIME REPORT WILL COUNT AS THE OFFICIAL REPORT UNLESS SERVER DATA PROVES IT TO BE WRONG DUE TO A NETWORK PROBLEM ON WEBHOSTINGSTUFF.COMS NETWORK. PROPER DOCUMENTATION WILL BE PROVIDED IF THIS IS THE CASE. WEBHOSTINGSTUFF.COM'S UPTIME REPORT IS USUALLY PRETTY ACCURATE. SO THE REPORT THAT THEY GIVE FOR THE MONTH WILL 9 TIME OUT OF 10 BE THE REPORT WE GO OFF OF. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 3 OF THE DAY WE FALL BELOW THE 99.8% OF BY THE 2ND OF THE NEXT MONTH. ANY CLAIMS AFTER THIS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMPANY. 

You must send us an email to billing@plzhost.com to be eligible for the credit users whom do not email us will not be eligible for credits, emails sent to any other address the the one listed above are at the discretion of the company. 

Defined: Server down time is defined as time where the whole server is unavailable to the public, since our site is hosted on the same server as everyone else for the purpose of the uptime monitor if our site is down the server is down. Down time does not includes, errors in shopping cart software, errors on pages, or anything other user level error. The server must have been down in order for it to count. 

Any scheduled maintenance or unscheduled maintenance that is caused due to acts of god, acts of another users, or anything else out of the control the company is not counted as downtime. Users will be notified and users are encouraged to put email address that are not associated in anyway with the account being hosted by us. We keep a list of users with us and if we have to send out an emergency email you may not receive it if the email is on the account hosted with us. 

This guarantee also is for our owned servers we are not responsible for other ISP's and any other system but what is owned by Plzhost.com we are not in control of different ISP's DNS servers therefore we cannot guarantee that they will be up 99.8% of time time or that your account with them will not have interruptions or that any other ISP will not have downtime. We can only control what is owned by us. 

Discrepancy between Webhostingstuff.com and server data.
In the case where the server reports different than webhostingstuff.com the server report will override the webhostingstuff.com.
